HB3597 by Hickland (Relating to public hearing requirements for issuing a license for or expanding certain residential child-care facilities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change the population threshold for operations to hold public hearings and post notices prior to issue of license, certificate or expansion. 

It is assumed there would be no cost to the Department of Family and Protective Services. It is assumed any costs to the Health and Human Services Commission could be absorbed within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
