IN RE:	HB2882 by Isaac (Relating to the definition of short-barrel firearm for purposes of certain criminal offenses.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the definition of a short-barrel firearm to exclude a handgun equipped with a certain stabilizing brace.

It is assumed that any fiscal impact and any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government would not be significant.
