R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Maurice and Betty Flora of Como celebrated their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary on February 26, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Flora exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
at a ceremony held in Como in 1953, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes a son, Mike Flora, and his wife, Tina, as well as |
|
|
three grandchildren, Candace, Colton, and Corbin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Maurice and Betty Flora have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Maurice and Betty Flora on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Flora as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
