| WHEREAS, The friends and family of U.S. Navy Airman Adrian M. | ||
| Campos of El Paso suffered an immeasurable loss with the death of | ||
| this valiant soldier on April 21, 2008, at the age of 22; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Support Squadron, | ||
| attached to the USNS Arctic, Airman Campos died in a | ||
| non-combat-related incident in Dubai; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Adrian Campos graduated from high school in 2003 and | ||
| joined the navy to see the world; he planned to open an auto shop | ||
| after completing his military service; beloved by many for his | ||
| outgoing and caring nature, he was a devoted husband to his wife, | ||
| Sylvia, and a proud father of his baby girl, Gaby; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his unfaltering devotion to duty, honor, and | ||
| country, Adrian Campos upheld the highest ideals of the United | ||
| States armed forces, and his fellow citizens owe him a debt of | ||
| gratitude that the passage of time can never diminish; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Airman Adrian M. | ||
| Campos and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to | ||
| his wife, Sylvia Campos; to his daughter, Gaby Campos; to his | ||
| brother, Carlos Campos; to his sister, Vanessa Valenvuela; and to | ||
| his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Adrian M. | ||
| Campos. | ||
