R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Alejandro Diaz-Wahl has provided indispensable |
|
|
support to the office of Representative Ana Hernandez as a |
|
|
legislative intern; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Raul Diaz and Elizabeth Wahl, Raul |
|
|
Alejandro Diaz-Wahl graduated in 2008 from the Albuquerque Academy |
|
|
in New Mexico; currently a first-year student at The University of |
|
|
Texas at Austin, this talented young man is pursuing a double major |
|
|
in government and radio-television-film; he is an active member of |
|
|
Phi Eta Sigma honor society; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Diaz was part of the Senator Kirk Watson |
|
|
Fellowship Program in the fall of 2008, and he hopes to pursue a |
|
|
career in government; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By contributing countless hours of hard work, |
|
|
Alejandro Diaz-Wahl has helped to ensure that the constituents of |
|
|
House District 143 and the citizens of the Lone Star State have been |
|
|
well represented throughout this session, and he is indeed deserving |
|
|
of special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Alejandro Diaz-Wahl for his service in |
|
|
the office of State Representative Ana Hernandez and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for Mr. Diaz-Wahl as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
